National Beer Day 2020!

Updated: Apr 13, 2020

Happy National Beer Day! April 7th marks the beginning of the end of prohibition. On this day in 1933, states were once-again permitted to sell low-alcohol beer and wine.

Today is the day to celebrate our favorite beverage, BEER!!

While we are all spending more time at home right now (#socialdistancing), why not celebrate the holiday all week long!

Here are some ideas to get you started on how to celebrate one of the best holidays from the comfort of your home:

1. Throw a virtual happy hour with your friends

If you are missing your friends during this time why not host a virtual happy hour! Grab your favorite beer and call them up over FaceTime! It's fun and will lift your spirits more than you imagine.

2. Try a beer you have never tried before

Back in 1933, they basically had lager, lager, and more lager. Today we are fortunate to have a huge variety of beer available to us. We currently have a full to-go beer menu! Why not grab a couple of Hana Koa crowlers, some flight glasses and create your own personal beer tasting with your S.O. or virtually with your friends!

3. Cook with beer

There are many great things you can do in the kitchen with beer! Cook up some beer-battered fish tacos or beer-braised meats! Try out a new recipe and get creative with it.

4. Brew your own beer!

It is a fun way to get creative and will give you something to look forward to after all this is over with!

5. Join us for our Virtual Guided Beer Tasting!

Let's make the most of social distancing! Do your part.. stay home, and drink with us ;) Join us for a virtual beer tasting experience, led by the owners and head brewer Josh and Chrissie Kopp.⁣ We will be tasting and discussing 4 different featured beers each week. You will learn about the brewing process that creates the flavor profiles of each beer, as well as some quirky stories that inspired each recipe. Check out more details here!

Cheers!
